Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
  2. Cut chicken breasts into even strips. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
  4. Coat each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg, then press into breadcrumbs, ensuring full coverage.
  5. Place tenders on the baking sheet, leaving space between each. Lightly spray with cooking oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the tenders for the last 1-2 minutes. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
