BBQ Chicken Sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup pickles sliced

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until evenly coated. Set aside.
  2. Step 2: In another bowl, combine coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Toss until well-coated.
  3. Step 3: Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add the BBQ chicken mixture and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  4. Step 4: Slice the slider buns in half and lightly toast them in the oven or on a skillet for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Place a generous scoop of the BBQ chicken onto the bottom half of each slider bun.
  6. Step 6: Top the chicken with a spoonful of coleslaw and a few pickle slices.
  7. Step 7: Cover with the top half of the slider bun and serve immediately.
  8. Step 8: Optional: Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a slice of cheddar cheese or a drizzle of ranch dressing before assembling.
