Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 2 sticks European-style butter, softened
  • 3-4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, beat softened butter until light and fluffy
  2. Add minced garlic and mix thoroughly
  3. Stir in honey, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce until fully combined
  4. Add all dry spices (paprika, cayenne, mustard powder, black pepper, salt) one at a time, mixing after each addition
  5. Gently fold in chopped fresh herbs
  6. Transfer mixture to plastic wrap and shape into a log
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) before serving
  8. Slice into coins and serve over grilled meats, vegetables, or bread

Notes

For best results, use high-quality butter and fresh herbs. Flavors intensify over time - make ahead for maximum taste. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
