  • 4 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup crushed saltine crackers
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, crushed saltine crackers, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, red wine vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the strawberry mixture and gently toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
  4. Let the salad sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
