Ingredients
  

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 can 5 oz tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your waffle maker while you prepare the chaffle batter.
  2. Step 2: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, mozzarella cheese, and almond flour until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Lightly grease the waffle maker, then pour the chaffle batter into it, spreading it evenly.
  4. Step 4: Cook the chaffles for about 3-4 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Step 5: In another bowl, mix the tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, red onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Step 6: Spread the tuna mixture evenly over the cooked chaffles.
  7. Step 7: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tuna mixture.
  8. Step 8: Place the chaffles under a broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Step 9: Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
