  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9-inch pie pan or baking dish.
  2. Brown ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until beef is cooked through.
  3. Add garlic, salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard to the beef mixture and cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared pie pan and top with shredded cheese.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, milk, eggs, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese layer.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey for beef if desired. Leftovers keep in the fridge for 3 days and reheat well in the microwave. For extra flavor, add diced pickles or bacon bits to the beef mixture.
