- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper, and place the salmon fillets on it.
- Brush the honey pineapple glaze over the salmon fillets, making sure they are fully coated.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon, and season with black pepper.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh pineapple and serve immediately.
Notes
You can substitute the pineapple juice with orange or apple juice for a different flavor. Also, make sure to not overcook the salmon, as it can become dry and tough.
