Garlic Butter Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Wooden skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F).
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well.
  3. Thread the shrimp onto the soaked wooden skewers, placing 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the shrimp skewers, coating both sides.
  5. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and drizzle with any remaining garlic butter sauce.
  7. Garnish with additional chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
