- Step 1: Place the halved potatoes at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Step 2: Season the chicken breasts with paprika, salt, and pepper, then place them on top of the potatoes.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, mix the chicken broth, diced onion, and minced garlic. Pour this mixture over the chicken and potatoes.
- Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
- Step 5: Remove the chicken and potatoes from the crockpot and set aside.
- Step 6: Stir in the sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese into the remaining broth in the crockpot until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Step 7: Return the chicken and potatoes to the crockpot, gently stirring to coat them in the cheesy sauce.
- Step 8: Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes before serving.
