Ingredients
Method
- Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef cubes in batches, transferring them to the crockpot once browned.
- Step 2: Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté until onions are translucent. Transfer to the crockpot.
- Step 3: Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the beef and onions in the crockpot.
- Step 4: Sprinkle in thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Step 5: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Step 6: In a small bowl, whisk together flour and water until smooth. Add to the crockpot, stirring to thicken the gravy.
- Step 7: Cook for an additional 30 minutes on low.
- Step 8: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For a thicker gravy, use an extra tablespoon of flour. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
