- Step 1: Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the broccoli florets. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Step 4: Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Step 5: Stir in the lemon zest and juice, and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Step 6: Return the chicken and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat in the butter lemon sauce.
- Step 7: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, along with the Parmesan cheese. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
