Big Mac Pasta Salad

A fun twist on the classic Big Mac, this pasta salad combines all the iconic flavors in a creamy, tangy dish perfect for picnics or potlucks.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz elbow pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Cook the elbow pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. Step 2: In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease and let it cool.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cooked ground beef, diced pickles, shredded cheese, and chopped onion.
  4. Step 4: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Thousand Island dressing, yellow mustard, and garlic powder.
  5. Step 5: Pour the dressing mixture over the pasta and beef mixture. Toss until everything is well coated.
  6. Step 6: Gently fold in the shredded iceberg lettuce.
  7. Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top before serving. This salad tastes even better the next day!
