Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mix.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
- Bake the wings for 20 minutes, then flip them over and bake for another 10 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the BBQ sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened.
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the BBQ sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
- Return the sauced wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize.
- Serve the BBQ chicken wings hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley or green onions, if desired.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, you can air fry them at 375°F for 15-20 minutes instead of baking. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
