- Step 1: In a medium bowl, whisk together miso paste, heavy cream, mirin, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
- Step 2: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with sesame oil, then coat evenly with the miso cream mixture.
- Step 3: Let salmon marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes while preheating air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Step 4: Lightly grease air fryer basket with oil. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in a single layer, leaving space between them.
- Step 5: Air fry for 8-10 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F internally.
- Step 6: Carefully remove salmon from air fryer. Spoon any remaining sauce from the basket over the fillets.
- Step 7: Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, pat dry thoroughly before marinating. If sauce thickens too much, thin with 1-2 tbsp warm water. Serve with steamed rice and sautéed greens.
