A fiery twist on sushi, this baked dish layers spicy salmon and creamy avocado over sushi rice for an oven-baked, flavor-packed experience.

2 cups sushi rice, cooked and cooled

1 pound fresh salmon, diced

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 avocado, sliced

1 cucumber, thinly sliced

2 green onions, chopped

Nori sheets, cut into strips

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, Sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to make the spicy sauce.

2. Spread cooked sushi rice evenly in a baking dish. Layer diced salmon on top.

3. Drizzle spicy mayo over the salmon. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the salmon is fully cooked.

4. Let cool slightly. Top with avocado, cucumber, and green onions. Garnish with sesame seeds.

5. Serve warm with nori strips on the side and enjoy!

Notes

Use cooked leftover salmon if fresh is unavailable. Adjust Sriracha to control spice level. Add cream cheese or teriyaki for a fun twist.
