These Parmesan Candied Bacon Crackers are sweet-salty, cheesy, and crisp—simple party bites made by baking crackers topped with a bacon-Parmesan brown sugar mixture until bubbly and caramelized.

Ingredients

Scale

1 package (8 ounces) bacon, cut into small pieces

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

About 40-50 small crackers (Ritz, Club, or similar)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked bacon pieces, Parmesan cheese, brown sugar, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

3. Place the crackers on the prepared baking sheet. Top each cracker with a small spoonful of the bacon-Parmesan mixture, pressing down gently to adhere.

4. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crackers are golden brown around the edges. Keep a close eye on them, as they can burn quickly!

5. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. This allows the bacon to crisp up and the flavors to meld together.

6. Once cooled, carefully transfer the Parmesan Candied Bacon Crackers to a serving platter and prepare for the compliments!

Notes

Be sure the bacon is cooked before mixing—crisp bacon gives the best texture.

Use finely grated Parmesan so it melts evenly and “glues” the topping to the cracker.

Watch closely near the end; sugar and cheese can brown fast.

Store airtight at room temp 1 day or refrigerate up to 3 days; re-crisp in a 325°F oven for 3–5 minutes.
