Creamy banana pepper chicken dip blends tender chicken, zesty banana peppers, and melty cheese into a rich, crowd-pleasing appetizer.

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup chopped banana peppers (mild or hot)

1 cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese

½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

¼ cup reserved juice from banana pepper jar

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon kosher salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon paprika

Tortilla chips, crackers, or crudités for serving

Instructions

1. Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and minced garlic in a bowl until smooth.

2. Fold in shredded chicken, banana peppers, and shredded cheese until well mixed.

3. Stir in reserved banana pepper juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Taste and adjust.

4. Transfer mixture to a slow cooker. Heat on low for 1–2 hours, stirring occasionally.

5. Alternatively, bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes in an oven-safe dish, stirring midway.

6. Once hot and bubbly, transfer to a serving dish or keep warm in slow cooker.

7. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies and enjoy!

Notes

To prep ahead, mix all ingredients and refrigerate overnight. Reheat gently before serving.
